[ history ]

Born and raised in Beijing, Ying is directly descended from the infamous Sima Yi of the three kingdoms era. Having a privelaged upbringing was great, but eventually the strictness began to grate on him, and at fifteen he ran away from home, making his way to Hong Kong. There he was awakened to his destiny as an Angel by a mysterious stranger. After living on the streets as a pickpocket for four years, trying to forget this revelation, he decided to return home and tell his parents, hoping by doing so he would come to a resolution about it. Upon returning to Beijing, he found his ancestral home burned to the ground and both his parents dead. He had a little sister, whom he still searches for tirelessly. Despite being an Angel and believing the Earth should be cleansed, he is torn because there is still a precious person he wishes to protect.


[ personality ]

Very quiet, cold to those he doesn't know. Once he considers you a friend, though, he's a lot warmer and more friendly. Rarely smiles as he rarely has anything to be happy about. Selfless to the point of self-destruction, except in the case of his enemies. Has his own twisted sense of morals that dictates most of his actions.
